World Of Final Fantasy Is Getting A Collector’s Edition

Fulfill your fantasy

World of Final Fantasy

Are you psyched about the upcoming World of Final Fantasy? If so, you may want to take a look at the recently revealed Collector’s Edition.

It’s a beefy grab-bag of extra goodies with a strong emphasis on physical presence. Presented in a package reminiscent of a pop-up book, buyers will be treated to the game’s official soundtrack, an install disc, and an 80-page hardback artbook showing off the new toy-like visuals. There’s also extra digital content, including White Chocobo, Glow Moogle and Red Bonnetberry mirages, a Sephiroth summon, and a Japanese voice-over option add-on. It may be purchased from the Square Enix online store for $119.99.

If you’re not keen on quite so many extras, there’s also the option to purchase the Limited Edition and Day One Edition. Both feature a physical game install disc, a 24-page artbook and the same extra digital content as the Collector’s Edition. Both retail for $59.99. The Limited Edition also includes unique packaging and will be sold only at select retailers.

World of Final Fantasy aims to be more faithful to the play style of the early Final Fantasy games, but with an eye to younger players. To this end, the game features toy-like visuals and is generally designed with greater accessibility in mind. The title follows two siblings who find themselves in a world known as Grymoire, where they encounter characters and creatures from the various games in the long-running Final Fantasy series. We can expect it in October for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
