Super Mario Bros. Dimensions
Mario‘s strengths have always been its fun and varied gameplay, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for more gimmicks. Super Mario Bros. Dimensions augments the classic play style by introducing “dimension-switching”, reminiscent of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams.
This means that players can enter an alternate version of the level at the touch of a key. Levels are constructed with this feature in mind, requiring players to switch back and forth constantly. Mario also has a couple of new power-ups at his disposal, such as a jet pack and the ability to shoot lasers.
With the complex level design and 8-bit style, it almost feels like a lost classic from the original NES library. Snag it by directing your browser here.
