New Trailer For Death Stair: A Game About Stair Climbing

Death Stair… It’s like Death Stare but with stairs, geddit? Sorry, I’ll see myself out…

Stair climbing isn’t necessarily the first activity you’d associate with action-packed fun, but that could well change with the upcoming release of Death Stair. Death Stair is a competitive multiplayer climbing game that up to four budding travellers can particpate in. One player takes the role of the cannon, firing beach balls, mines, dodgeballs, rockets and bombs relentlessly at the other players – who are just trying to get up to bed! There’s also has a split-screen mode, seeming to harken back to the good old days of party games where friends would gather around the telly to yell at eachother. Don’t worry though, as you can ruin your long-distance friendships as well with the online multiplayer! Death Stair combines 1st and 3rd person gameplay over 3 entirely different flights of stairs, and there’s full controller support to give the game that classic console feel. You’ll get awards after every match too, to make sure your continuous climbing doesn’t feel like a metaphor for the futility of life!

So, if you’re interested in climbing the stairway to heaven, then check out Death Stair – which releases Mid to late August on PC, and early 2017 on Xbox One. You can check out of the sexy, exciting stairwell-ascending some action from in the newly released E3 trailer below!

Jonathan is HeyPoorPlayer's token British person, so expect him to thoroughly exploit this by quoting Monty Python and saying things like "Pip, pip, toodly-whotsit!" for the delight of American readers. He likes artsy-fartsy games, RPGs and RPG-Hybrids (which means pretty much everything at this point). He used to write for Sumonix.com. He's also just realised how much fun it is to refer to himself in the third person like he's The Rock or something.
