Abbey exorcists Shigure & Melchoir introduced in new Tales of Berseria screens

 

Bandai Namco today released new assets for their upcoming JRPG, Tales of Berseria, which is slated to release in early 2017 PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The new assets focus on two new characters featured in the latest entry in the long-running Tales series. The two new characters showcased today are Shigure Rangetsu and Melchior are members of the clergy from the Abbey, an organization of exorcists.

 

Tales of Berseria’s Shigure’s wields a long sword and is a master of the Legate style of fighting.  His freewheeling attitude hasn’t awarded him many friends in the Abbey, but his many accomplishments on the battlefield have earned him recognition among his peers.

 

Melchior is an elder with an astute knowledge of legends and alchemy. Melchoir wields a mystical orb in combat, and has shown a willingness to take on even the most unpleasant of tasks.
