Six Game Properties That Should Return

Prince of Persia

I may be one of the few that really liked the Prince of Persia reboot that released in 2008. It was a beautiful game with a great script. It did get a bit repetitive at times, but that’s not saying much as a lot of games have some repetition in them anyways. The end of the game had a bit of a cliffhanger and I had assumed, like many others, that a sequel to that game would release. It never did.

There have been a couple of other entries since then, but they really didn’t make any strides to keeping the franchise afloat as they seemed to just exist for the sake or it, or for the Prince of Persia film that many don’t like to talk about. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands didn’t really tie in with the other games in the series when it released in 2010, and since then the series has become stagnant.

Regardless of how you felt about that game, or any others that came out after the fact, it has been six years since the last Prince of Persia game and it is time to show off a Prince of Persia title on the current generation of consoles. Enough time has passed between the last game, and the mediocre movie, for people to unknowingly want this franchise again.

Stuck in a perpetual state of daydreaming usually, I like to think about a TARDIS coming to get me, or handling a real lightsaber. Other than that, I am an old pop culture enthusiast that enjoys film, games, and anime...probably to an unhealthy degree.
