In 2006, we were introduced to Jimmy Hopkins and the institution of Bullworth Academy. Since then, Rockstar Games hasn’t indicated that another Bully game is in production. With this year being the 10th anniversary of the original games release, it would be nice to see another Bully game, even if it’s not the same school or protagonist.
Bully, for the most part, is a GTA game on a smaller scale. You play as a high school student/ rebel James “Jimmy” Hopkins. Throughout the story, you help Jimmy rises through the ranks of the school groups, which include Bullies, Nerds, Preppies, Greasers, and Jocks to help progress through the story line. You also have the ability to complete side missions that have you going through other areas of the map; Bullworth Academy, Old Bullworth Vale, Bullworth Town, New Coventry, and the Blue Skies Industrial Area.
Bully was a fun game, and that’s all it ever needed to be. It had a clever script and well-constructed characters. With high review scores and good sales, I am surprised that we haven’t seen or heard anything about a sequel. 2K has said that there is a lot in store for them at E3 2016, maybe this will be one of them.
