2. Slash Most of the Grinding
The leveling system in DragonBall Xenoverse was a double edged sword. While it was awesome that you could level up your custom character to deal ever-stronger attacks and specials, the amount of grinding that was featured was atrocious.
While mostly being fair, Xenoverse had enough moments of bosses having too much health and defense, that grinding out on multiple side quests was necessary. While some grinding is fair, when you reach the higher levels, it becomes a massive chore and less fun to play.
As well, when you are trying to find the Dragon Balls in order to unlock various moves, you have to play certain missions that have other NPCs that may or may not have the item to begin with. The guy doesn’t have the item? Better reset over and over again until you get lucky enough for the fucking 6-Star ball to drop. It was annoying at best, and hair-pulling frustrating at worst and would need to be changed.
