The Top 5 Things We Need in DragonBall Xenoverse 2

4. A Larger Roster of Fighters

While DragonBall Xenoverse had a decent assortment of fighters from the series, there were quite a few that just didn’t seem to make the cut and were excluded in the original game. While there were multiple versions of Frieza’s soldiers, there was no sign of Dodoria and Zarbon, who have been featured as playable characters in plenty of DragonBall games.

The trailer does showcase these two, as well as a variety of DragonBall movie villains, which is a nice plus, as the only major movie characters we got were Broly and the God of Destruction, unlocked very late in Xenoverse.

If the game designers want to be extra nice, they can also throw in the nice round of new combatants that were recently shown in the DragonBall Super anime. The show recently had a Universal Tournament arc, where fighters from another universe challenged Goku and his crew, and all of them were decently designed characters that I personally would love to tinker around with. Oh, and please don’t make most of them DLC. I understand wanting more money, but the season pass for Xenoverse was a joke, and must not be repeated.

Anthony Spivey loves his handhelds. Ever since getting a Game Boy and Pokemon Blue when they came out, he has rarely set down a handheld, usually to only pick up a console controller. He is frequently on the Hey Poor Podcast, which everyone should listen to. His favorite games include Persona 3 Portable, Pokemon Silver, Sonic Advance 2, and Final Fantasy VI Advance.
