Mac Users Can Now Feel Welcomed
After eight months since its release for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC, indie French developer Cyanide Studios has finally published Blood Bowl 2 onto Mac platforms through Steam. This is the sequel to the American fantasy football game Blood Bowl, which was an adaptation of the famous board game Warhammer, created by Games Workshop.
From 17-20th May, players can purchase the game on Steam for 60% off during the Midweek Madness sales, as well as extra races. However, owners of the PC version can download it on Macs for free. Both Mac and PC users can play against each other, so long that they each hold a copy of the game on Steam. Mac users will also receive free extra teams if they purchase the game before their initial release including: the Undead, the Necromantic, and the Nurgle.
Blood Bowl 2 is a crossover between Games Workshop’s Warhammer and American football, transforming into a comical, yet violent turn-based strategy game. Complete with a new graphics engine to bring more detail to character models. You may choose to participate in the solo story campaign, where you lead one of most symbolic teams to ever be seen in the history of Blood Bowl, known as the Reikland Reavers, with your progress narrated by Cabalvision comedic commentators Jim & Bob.
During Blood Bowl 2’s multiplayer, you can battle competitively online to see if you make a better sportsman, with the brand new Multiplayer League Mode, allowing for manageable clubs and stadiums in order to lead your team to the top of their game, with players acting as coaches to their teams and given the ability to buy or sell their team players. Somebody slacking off on the job or causing grief to your other team members? Sack him! They are your puppets to control.
