I Am Setsuna Arriving on PS4 and PC in July

Square Enix Draws Insperation From the Golden Age

I Am Setsuna

I Am Setsuna will be arriving in Europe and North America for the PlayStation 4 and Steam, on July 19 2016. The first game from Tokyo RPG Factory has been inspired by, “legendary titles from the golden era of JRPGs, such as Chrono Trigger’s memorable battle system,” Square Enix says.

Although not a complete replica of Chrono Trigger, I Am Setsuna doesn’t seem to be straying too far off course when it comes to addressing the fundamentals established in classic JRPG’s. “I Am Setsuna tells the sorrowful story of Setsuna, a young woman of incredible inner strength, and the sacrifice she must undertake to the save the people of her land. Players will be immersed in an emotional and unforgettable story of true bravery as Setsuna leaves her hometown with her bodyguards on a journey to the farthest land.” States the press release.

Tokyo RPG Factory also released a teaser trailer along with the release date, reiterating on the premise that I Am Setsuna is made for fans of classic JRPGs.
