Latest Star Log for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness showcases combat system, character switching and more
Those who tuned in last night for the latest installment of Square Enix’s ongoing “The Star Log” live stream series were treated to a glimpse of fresh content and information for Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness. Star Log #2 focused on the game’s battle system, featuring a new battle system trailer and a special video message from producer Shuichi Kobayashi. Square Enix also showed off live gameplay from the upcoming RPG that highlighted short and long range attacks, combos, character switching and much more.
The second Star Log episode in the series clocks in at just under an hour, and recaps the game’s recent Collector’s and Day One Editions announcement which revealed the title’s release date of June 28, 2016. Footage of the Kingdom of Langdauq and two new character spotlight videos of the powerful magician Fiore and gruff Special Forces veteran Victor were also featured. Square Enix revealed that North America players will have the first hands-on opportunity with Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness at PAX East in Boston, April 22-24.
