5 Games We’re Looking Forward To In April

2. Quantum Break (Xbox One)

From the gritty noir action of the Max Payne games to the haunting, Stephen King-inspired narrative of Alan Wake, Remedy’s games have always managed to intrigue us with gripping stories to go with their exceptional action titles. From the look of things their upcoming time-shifting shooter, Quantum Break, looks to be more of the tightly-wound action and compelling narrative we’ve come to expect from the developer.

Set to launch on the Xbox One next week, Quantum Break tells the story of Jack Joyce as he attempts to escape the clutches of the sinister corporation Monarch Solutions. The game gives players a wealth of offensive and defensive time-based powers including the abilities including a “Time Shield”, which allow’s Jack to deflect oncoming bullets, and a “Time Dodge”, which allows him to dash away from enemy attacks.

Quantum Break is set to launch on April 5.
