There’s been an awakening
We all knew that another Lego Star Wars game was inevitable, given that the original Lego Star Wars was one of the first big Lego games out there, but I didn’t think we’d be getting it so soon.
TT Games and Warner Brothers have come together once more to bring us Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Details have already been announced about the new game including the inclusion of new story levels set between Return of the Jedi and Episode 7, a new Multi-Build system that lets players pick from multiple building options, cover based blaster battles, and New AI that lets the enemy build in-game to support their comrades in arms.
DLC will also be featured in the game, along with content exclusive to Playstation; a new Phantom Limb level pack (which is probably about C-3P0’s red arm) and a droid character pack.
Warner Brothers released a trailer for the game that spoofs the original Episode VII reveal trailer, with its own Lego spin added, which you can watch below:
Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will launch June 28th this year and will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PC. Additionally, a Deluxe Edition of the game will be released which includes an exclusive Finn mini figure.
So who is excited for a new Lego Star Wars game? What do you want to see in these new episode bridging levels? Any characters you want to play as? I know I have one.
