Hey Poor Podcast Episode 51: 100% Podcast Guaranteed

Marge gon’ give it to ya. She gon’ give it to ya.

marge simpson towers onwards

Jay, Frank, Adam and Ser come together to talk about creamy memes, dank screams, depressing teens, and dying while shitting. Oh, and Gamestop is helping Insomniac make a game. Also, Mighty No. 9 got delayed again, and somehow people are still surprised. Frank’s been taking the Totoro cat bus to anime town, and brought back a real steamy chest of anime body pillows. Ser bought a Japanese Xbox 360. Adam actually played the King of Fighters MOBA we talked about on the previous episode. Jay feels the corporate clutch of Junes a bit too close to home. Other talking points include Megadimension Neptunia VII, Power Instinct Matrimelee, Asura’s Wrath, Sunless Sea, T00 Human, Klaus, and Soma. A correction: In the episode, we state that Mighty No. 9 is being developed in Unity. This is not actually the case. The game is actually being developed in Unreal Engine 3.

The Hey Poor Podcast can be found and subscribed to on iTunes and Stitcher. In addition to the website, Hey Poor Player can be found in page and group form on Facebook,  screeching away like alarmed barn owls on Twitter, trying and failing to create anything worth watching on Youtube, and playing away for your entertainment on Twitch. Check out Ser’s work on Bullet Heaven, and at Press Pause Radio. You can also follow us on Twitter: Jay – Adam – Gary – JohnathanSer

Jay Petrequin started writing at HeyPoorPlayer in the summer of 2012, but first got his start writing for It's Super Effective, a Pokemon podcast that happened to be a reflection of two of his biggest interests: pocket monsters, and making people listen to him say things.
