Klaus, A Punishing Platformer Inspired By Megaman & Super Meat Boy, Coming To PS4 Jan. 19

La Cosa’s stark, minimalist platformer brings tough platforming and emotional narrative to PS4 this month

KLAUS, the upcoming 2D platformer from filmmakers-turned-developers La Cosa Entertainment, will release on January 19 for the PlayStation 4.

KLAUS is a precision-based puzzle platformer with a focus on a self-aware narrative style and unique PS4 touchpad-based controls. The game’s challenging platforming was directly inspired by classics such as Super Meat Boy and Megaman, but also introduces an emotional narrative in the spirit of Limbo and Thomas Was Alone. Suffice to say, it’s hard to pass up a game that wears its retro-centric heart on its sleeve while taking the time to tell a touching story.
