The HPP New Years office party was crazy. I think Frank built a dragon out of meat.

Oh god, that was a real crazy time last night. Frank started the evening out grilling, and ended it by drunkenly constructing giant sculptures out of sausage and beef. Adam tried to order a pizza, but somehow ended up ordering ten pounds of black tar heroin. I don’t remember anyone actually using it, but all of it is now gone without a trace. Gary started picking up different musical instruments and attempting to play Wonderwall on them (he was surprisingly good with the harmonica). Jay bartended, mixing weird drinks for the crew. My favorite was the “Disappointing Press Conference,” which included a bunch of flashy mixers but no actual alcohol.

As such, everyone is recovering from one of the most confused hangovers ever; yes, even now, four days later. Jack came in the morning after to help clean up (dressed in full maid outfit), and he’s still here somewhere. As such, it’s another solo episode of the Hey Poor Podcast, as Jay Petrequin takes the reins and heads to tune town one more time. Listen on for some music from games like Yoshi’s Wooly World, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Tales from the Borderlands, The Witcher 3, Life is Strange, Undertale, Homestuck, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon Black and White, and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.

Jay Petrequin started writing at HeyPoorPlayer in the summer of 2012, but first got his start writing for It's Super Effective, a Pokemon podcast that happened to be a reflection of two of his biggest interests: pocket monsters, and making people listen to him say things.
