Pledge thyself unto his majesty of cheesy dust particles.

Receive thee thine blessing from the rivulets by which flow his gracious gifts of Mountain Dew. It cometh in all flavors. Ye original, ye Code Red, ye Live Wire and even ye Baja Blast. Know ye these things, and come forward to receive these gifts.

It’s a full house tonight in the Dorito Pope’s chapel, as Jay Petrequin, Francis DiPersio, Adam Foster and Gary Swallow get together to marathon through some news topics. Talking points include Psychonauts 2, the nature and future of crowdfunding as a viable platform, Telltale making a Batman game, Playstation 2 games on Playstation 4, and Kojima trapped in a Konami cage.

Then we get into what we’re playing. Jay is fighting giant, weird dinosaur aliens in Xenoblade Chronicles X. Frank found some dead bodies in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Adam gets celestially salty about the ending of the newest Starcraft II expansion. Gary is still roaming the wasteland in search of beautiful flesh towers in Fallout 4.

Round table offerings: I Don’t Care, I Like It by Karen Kilgariff and Drennon Davis. Awesome Contra figures by NECA. Trailer Park BoysMaster of None. Hey Poor Podcast approved good things to enjoy, by nerds, for nerds!

This episodes’ music comes from Xenoblade Chronicles X and Psychonauts.

Jay Petrequin started writing at HeyPoorPlayer in the summer of 2012, but first got his start writing for It's Super Effective, a Pokemon podcast that happened to be a reflection of two of his biggest interests: pocket monsters, and making people listen to him say things.
