Mighty No. 9 gets new trailer showcasing latest gameplay modes for Mega Man-inspired sidescroller
Deep Silver and developer Comcept today released a new trailer for Mighty No. 9, former Capcom superstar Keiji Inafune’s upcoming spiritual successor to the Mega Man series, introducing some of the upcoming title’s newly-announced game modes.
Here’s Mighty No. 9 publisher Deep Silver’s description of the footage:
“Face off against all the Mighties back to back in Boss Rush, test your 2D side-scrolling skills in the challenge mode, or overcome all the odds in the one-hit death maniac mode. Team up or face off against a friend online in co-op challenges and fierce races.”
Barring any unforeseen delays, Mighty No. 9 is currently slated to be released in February for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U in physical form. The game will also be released digitally across the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, with a release on the Nintendo 3DS and Vita to follow later.
