Full Control’s 2013 strategy title Space Hulk takes the fight to the Genestealers in Europe tomorrow
Funbox Media, and developer HR Games have announced that Space Hulk, the tense, claustrophobic strategy game based on Games Workshop’s popular Warhammer 40,000 series, will launch on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Europe and Australia tomorrow.
Originally developed by Full Control and released on PC in 2013, Space Hulk is set in the isolated corridors and tomb-like chambers of an ancient vessel lost in the graveyard of space. Players lead a small army of fearless Space Marine Terminators to battle in a ferocious fight for survival against hordes of predatory alien Genestealers. Recreating the tense battles of the board game, multiplayer hotseat mode will allow players to go head-to-head as one player controls the Space Marines and their opponent the Genestealers, in the ultimate fight for domination.
“We are extremely pleased to cooperate with HR Games in releasing Space Hulk in Europe and in Australia.” commented Mark Clemens, Sales Director at the game’s publisher, Funbox Media.
“As Full Control did on the PC, we can now finally bring that experience to life on consoles full of scary Genestealers and mighty Terminators!” said Manny Granillo, CEO of HR Games.
