Yakuza 5 developers talk music, westernization and themes in the latest inverview with SCEA’s Gio Corsi
Sega today released the the third and final part of their Yakuza 5 “Welcome to the World of Yakuza” interview series with Gio Corsi of SCEA Third Party Production’s interview and the Yakuza series’ General Director Toshihiro Nagoshi and Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama. In the latest installment of the interview, the three of them discuss the game’s music, the developers’ thoughts on the Western release and the game’s themes.

Additionally, Sega has released a handful of new screenshots from Yakuza 5, which can be found in the gallery at the bottom of the page. The new screenshots offer a glimpse at life in the game’s rendition of Japan, with some good old-fashioned fisticuffs thrown in for good measure.
Yakuza 5 is the latest entry in Sega’s open-world crime series of RPGs. It will be releasing digitally later this year on the PlayStation 3. Those who pre-order the game will receive a 15% discount on the game as well as the “Fulfiller of Dreams” static theme.
