Jay Petrequin, Francis DiPersio and Gary Swallow talk about bad decisions of the culinary persuasion, go on a series of Canadian misadventures, spy on Konami employees, contemplate what Guillermo Del Toro’s video game visions could have been like, and put on Oculus Rifts in order to bring virtual weality into your wiving woom. Can someone get Palmer Luckey some shoes? Is the Goodwill open or anything? We also discuss finishing The Witcher 3, the major August update to Splatoon, our dream arcade cabinets, and more. This episode’s round table includes the documentary Tig, which is availible on Netflix, and the graphic novel Seconds by Bryan Lee O’Malley. This episode’s music took a Palmer Luckey-fueled turn for the virtual, and includes tracks from Virtual Boy classics Mario’s Tennis, Wario Land and Galactic Pinball.
