Jay Petrequin, Adam Foster and Gary Swallow perch amongst the rooftops of Gotham City, watching as the Arkham Knight’s forces take over below them. They plan. They scheme. They plot their takeback of the city. The trio of caped crusaders discuss the fiasco surrounding Arkham Knight‘s messy PC port, delve into the announcement trailer for the still somewhat perplexing Minecraft: Story Mode game by Telltale, and analyze just what went wrong with Tale of Tales’ Sunset, and what the larger issues surrounding the situation were. Do we need more focus on grants for indie game developers? What would the project have been like if this were the case? Other topics include Batman: Arkham Knight, Hohokum, Tediore grenade 360 noscopes in Borderlands 2Elder Scrolls Online kind of just being another Skyrim, Metro 2033, and more. The Kickstarter project U55 that we discussed ran in 2013, and was ultimately unsuccessful; however, development on the project is still ongoing. Check out our Kickstarter Watch, and the game’s official website. Also check out our ill-fated unboxing of the Batman: Arkham Knight special edition Playstation 4. Music for this episode includes the overworld day theme from Terraria, “Invasion” from Batman: Arkham Knight, and Matthew Dear’s “Pawn in their Game” from Hohokum

Jay Petrequin started writing at HeyPoorPlayer in the summer of 2012, but first got his start writing for It's Super Effective, a Pokemon podcast that happened to be a reflection of two of his biggest interests: pocket monsters, and making people listen to him say things.
