Prepare to Lay Waste to the wasteland in Fallout 4, now confirmed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC
Fallout 4 has been confirmed on Bethesda’s Softworks’ official website, revealing that the sequel to 2008’s Fallout 3 will be arriving to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The main image, which showed up on the site for a few brief moments this morning, displayed a set of incomplete power armor with mans best friend staring up at it. Held up by a lift and chains inside of a garage, the armor is surrounded by a Nuka Cola machine, rifle, and a Pip Boy Bobble Head.
The trailer settles years of rumors and speculation over the very anticipated title, and offers a peek into the massive world players will have a chance to explore. Also confirming that Fallout 4 will take place in The Commonwealth, a fictional version of Massachusetts.
In an official press release Todd Howard notes, “We know what this game means to everyone, the time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever.” The projects game director also said, “We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”
Bethesda has confirmed that they will be presenting gameplay at its E3 2015 press conference on June 14.
