Last week publisher Square Enix and French video game developer Dontnod announced the release date for Life is Strange Episode 3: Chaos Theory. With the May 19 release of the hotly anticipated next chapter in the episodic adventure game, Square Enix has released a launch trailer setting the pace for the latest chapter in Max and Chloe’s time-shifting saga.

In Life is Strange Episode 3: Chaos Theory, Max and Chloe’s investigation leads to them breaking into Blackwell Academy looking for clues regarding Rachel Amber’s disappearance. The launch trailer offers a glimpse at things to come, including more tense encounters with Nathan and Frank.

Developed by Remember Me developer Dontnod, Life is Strange is available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. Check out the Life is Strange Episode 3: Chaos Theory trailer below:

 

As in previous episodes, the choices you made as Max in the first two episodes have a direct impact on the way the story progresses in Life is Strange Episode 3: Chaos Theory.
