Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition

 

Divinity: Original Sin is headed to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Developer Larian Studios is promising that the, “Enhanced Edition” isn’t just a content update with minor patches. The new version will ship with fully voiced characters, new content, changes to the crafting system, a reworked story and local co-op.

PC, Mac, Linux and Steam will be getting this edition as well, along with full controller support once the game release towards the end of 2015. As an added benefit to PC players, the Enhanced Edition will be free to everyone who has already purchased the original title.

“Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition is a completely separate game: not an update to Divinity: Original Sin,” writes Larian. “Both games will remain available on PC and Mac, and it is important to note that they are totally different entities, so if you’ve already bought Original Sin you’ll see separate listings for Divinity: Original Sin and Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition in your Steam Library.”

The studio has already confirmed that they will be at this years E3 to show off the game, along with some new modes of play.
