Disgaea 5 sports a subdued but stylish package
NIS America today revealed the final box art for Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance. While as stylish as ever, the artwork for Disgaea 5 is rather subdued compared to the box art for previous entries in the Disgaea series. A handful of the game’s central cast are striking a stoic stance on the cover, including the young demon protagonist Killia, sheltered princess Seraphina, Christo, and the mighty Red Magnus.

The latest entry in Nippon Ichi Software’s flagship strategy RPG series, Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is slated to launch in North America and Europe this fall in both digital and physical formats exclusively on the Playstation 4. The game centers around the young demon Killia and his army of rebels as they attempt to overthrow the evil Overlord Void Dark. The game features the same comical writing and challenging SRPG gameplay fans of the series will already be accustomed to, and includes the addition of new features such as Alliance Attacks, which become available as the leading character’s relationships grow, and Revenge Mode, which powers up your characters when they tire of seeing their allies pummeled.
