That’s a whole lot of Final Fantasy XV demos
Publisher Square Enix today announced that Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has shipped over one million units since its March 17 launch on Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
Not too shabby, especially considering the title is essentially just a spruced up port of dusty PSP title. There’s little question much of the demand for the game came from interest in the demo for Final Fantasy XV that was included with Day One versions of of the game dubbed Final Fantasy XV: -Episode Duscae- (you can read Jack’s thoughts on the demo here).
Speaking of Final Fantasy XV, Square Enix also released a new poll for those who experienced the debut chapter of the game included with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD to voice their feedback on what they experienced. The poll is still open, and the publisher has announced that an upcoming player feedback special of its Active Time Report with Director Hajime Tabata will air April 27th at 11:00 pm (PDT). During the broadcast Tabata will discuss some of the feedback and opinions submitted by players, and detail some of the ways the development team plans to address them.
