It’s only been three and a half years since Japanese gamers got to experience Final Fantasy Type-0 on the PSP in 2011. Now, better late than never, Western gamers finally have the chance to see what all of the fuss is about as Final Fantasy-0 HD is now available on the Xbox One and Playstation 4 in North America, bringing the handheld adventure to life in glorious high definition. Those in Europe will have to wait a bit longer to liberate the war-torn world of Oriance when the game launches on March 20.

To mark the occasion, Square Enix has released a new launch trailer showcasing some touching moments setting the stage for the game’s story, as well as some explosive combat segments as the cadets from Class Zero battle it out against the militant forces of the invading Militesi Empire.

In case you missed it, first-run copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will include a redeemable code Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo, which allows players to step into the shoes of the game’s protagonist Noctis and explore Final Fantasy XV’s sprawling Duscae region while taking on hunting jobs to repair your damaged car.
