Nathan Drake’s next-gen debut pushed back until next spring
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, originally set to launch this year, has been delayed until Spring of 2016.
Directors Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley stated from the Playstation Blog, “It’s become clear to us that this game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned, so we’ve made the difficult choice of pushing the game’s release date,” they said. “Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the team’s high standards, but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title.”
Sony announced the fourth game of the Uncharted series in November of 2013, and unveiled the 2015 release at E3 last year. For now it seems, Naughty Dog will be working hard at delivering an epic conclusion to Nathan Drake’s tale.
