Sacred Line Genesis brings eerie new life to Sega’s undead console
Sega may have pulled the plug on their 16-bit workhorse the Sega Genesis nearly two decades ago, but don’t tell that to WaterMelon. The publisher and developer behind the critically acclaimed 2010 Genesis RPG Pier Solar (which recently saw a current gen release on modern platforms in glorious HD) has released a brand new title for the Genesis today. Dubbed Sacred line Genesis, this horrific 16-bit visual novel, written by Sasha Darko, features multiple paths and endings as you try to from a horrifying world of nightmares.
Sacred Line Genesis is available now in very limited quantities through WaterMelon’s Magical Game Factory. Plunking down 39$ will get you the standard edition BITS version of the game, which includes the cartridge, manual, and insert which can be used in any Genesis clamshell case.
