Evo 2015 Roster Announced During Twitch Livestream

It’s no secret that I’m not the biggest fan of fighting games — Smash Bros. is about as far as I go — but I respect (and fear) them, as well as the people who spend the absurd amount of time required to get better at them.

During a live stream last night, the people behind the Evo Championship Series announced the lineup for Evo 2015, which includes repeats like Killer Instinct, Street Fighter IV, and Smash Bros. Melee. Perhaps more interesting is that two unreleased games — Mortal Kombat X and Tekken 7 — are among the games to show up at the annual fighting tournament, which takes place from July 17th to July 19th. Joey Cuellar, A.K.A. “Mr. Wizard,” met with Mike Ross to discuss the upcoming lineup.

Adam has a penchant for strong, minority opinions, and loves Mass Effect, JRPGs, and the Warriors games -- sometimes perhaps a bit too much. He will defend Final Fantasy XIII to his grave, and honestly believes people give Dragon Age II too much flak.
