Halo 5’s multiplayer beta kicks off today, pre-order swag revealed
After months of anxious waiting, Halo fans can now sink their teeth into the multiplayer component of the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians today, Microsoft announced. Originally scheduled to begin last week, the multiplayer beta, which was announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference back in June, will run through January 18, and is open to Xbox one players who purchased Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
In addition to news of the multiplayer beta’s launch, Microsoft also revealed the pre-order goodies we can expect when Halo 5: Guardians releases next year. Dropping $60 on the standard edition version of the game will score you an exclusive poster, while the $100 Limited Edition version of Guardians will include the poster as well as “exclusive items” in a steel book case along with bonus digital content for the game. And for those looking to go big on 343 Industries‘ upcoming space opera, the Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians will include all of the previously mentioned swag, along with a commemorative stature signed by the development team.
Halo 5: Guardians is poised to go in guns blazing next Holiday season on the Xbox One.
