The Playstation’s Top 7 Opening FMVs

Metal Gear Solid

Way back in 1998, when Solid Snake embarked on his first Playstation sneaking mission, no game had quite captured Metal Gear Solid’s Hollywood level of cinematic flair. From the amphibious insertion of Metal Gear Solid’s stealth protagonist to the iconic elevator ride to the surface of the looming Shadow Moses nuclear research facility, Konami’s signature stealth epic wooed players with its unrivaled production values and top-notch voice talent before they snapped their first genome soldier’s neck.

Hmm I definitely think that Soul Reaver is the better opening though (could be the most epic opening to a game of all time)
G-Police also had an incredible opening that was epic at Blade Runner sci-fi levels. It really sucked you into the world and the police force that you play with.
Every single Tekken FMV ever on PS1 is epic 😀
Pandemonium was also very epic and still decent looking today.
Oh and Driver’s is pretty epic too as there is ZERO music in it, all tension building up to the end when the title comes up on screen.
