You know you’re in for a treat when a game’s trailer promises to make you “shit with fear.” While the Sega Dreamcast’s life may have been cut dreadfully short, Crazy Games’ 2001 survival horror title Illbleed is likely still alive, feeding off the sanity of those who delved into this slapstick slaughterhouse sideshow in the 13 years since its release. Set within the confines of a horrific theme park, Illbleed’s scares are just as deadly as its axe-wielding ghouls. Much of Illbleed’s gameplay revolves around using your trap-detecting Horror Monitor to locate potential scares before you cross their path. Failure to do so results in your pulse skyrocketing, which can quickly lead to death by cardiac arrest. Of course, that might be better than being eviscerated by the game’s notorious sixth boss, Zodick the Hellhog. Check out the Illbleed’s hilarious trailer above.
