Dead or Alive 5: Last Round just may be the definitive DOA package
Team NINJA have revealed that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be slugging its way onto the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 early next year. The game will feature the same, classic counter-based fighting system the series is known for, along with a wealth of the best content from Dead or Alive 5, along with a plethora of new content making Last Round the definitive Dead or Alive 5 experience
“Dead or Alive 5: Last Round marks an exciting step forward for the franchise, and one that fans have been asking for,” said Yosuke Hayashi, Team NINJA, and we are very happy to give our fans the chance to experience our signature high energy fighting entertainment as only the latest consoles can deliver it.”
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will feature an unparalleled level of life-like detail, and silky smooth animations that are sure to wow players more than ever before with their stunning attention to detail. As expected, Dead or Alives’ vibrant and dynamic interactive stages once again boast a range of visually striking locations from around the world, while offering even more destruction. Players will need to watch their footing too, as deadly new danger zones fill the environments, just waiting for one ill-conceived step to send you plummeting into a world of hurt.
The roster of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is nothing to sneeze at either, as it’s the largest and most diverse selection of brawlers the series has seen to date, featuring series favorites such as Hayabusa, Hayate, Kasumi, Ayane, Rig, Momiji, Leon, Kokoro, Tina, and Lisa, along with Virtua Fighter favorites Akira, Pai, Jacky and Sarah Bryant. As for extras, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round has them in droves, including over 300 open and unlockable costumes, and the brand new hairstyle and accessory options will give nearly endless possibilities to customize your favorite pugilist. Players can even bring their run of rosters, costumes and accessories from Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate, as previously purchased DLC content will be transferable from last gen consoles to the PS4 and Xbox One.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round will be releasing next spring on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 digitally, with both a digital and physical release coming to the Xbox One and Playstation 4.
