Nintendo give some details of day once DLC for upcoming titles Hyrule Warriors and Fantasy Life.
Let’s face it, guys. Everyone’s pretty excited over the upcoming Hyrule Warriors, and with good reason. Things are looking pretty good for the upcoming Zelda/Dynasty Warriors crossover, which is already doing really well in Japan. Today, word came down the pipeline detailing day one DLC for the upcoming action title.
Picking up a new copy of Hyrule Warriors will gain players a code giving access to a new game mode, weapon, and some additional music tracks. Players pre-ordering the game will also receive codes to download alternate skins for Link and Zelda, which will vary depending upon the retailer. Pre-ordering from Gamestop will get classic skins from Ocarina of Time, Best Buy will get you skins from Skyward Sword, and an online pre-order through Amazon gets you Twilight Princess-based skins. These skins will also be put on the eshop at some point in the near future. Remember, registering the game on Club Nintendo will get you a special skin for Ganondorf as well. ALl of this can be yours when Hyrule Warriors drops on September 16th in Europe, followed by the 26th in the US.
But Hyrule Warriors isn’t the only significant Nintendo release upon the horizon, no sir. Fantasy Life is a 3DS role-playing game by Level 5 Studios, coming soon to 3DS. This portable-sized adventure is getting some day 1 content of its own, in an add-on pack called “Origin Island.” This mysterious island contains an ancient people, strong foes, and adds birds and dragons to the list of types of pets to acquire. Tons of new equipment awaits on the island as well. Fantasy Life arrives o NIntendo 3DS on September 26th in Europe, followed by an October 24th release in the US.
