Square Enix today released a new trailer for their upcoming rhythmical adventure, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. The latest trailer pays homage to the gorgeous themes from Final Fantasy Tactics and Final Fantasy XII’s realm of Ivalice.

While not directly connected, the Final Fantasy games set in the world of Ivalice are bound by common themes of political intrigues, murderous power plays, the regencies of kings and princesses, and those who would expose their darkest royal secrets.

Featuring a musical style that plays perfectly to their epic tales, Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics have more than a few common themes.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call will launch September 16 in North America for the Nintendo 3DS.
