The Wraith haunts the newest Shadow of Mordor trailer.
There’s been a heap of good gaming news from SDCC this year for those interested in testing their retro-gaming mettle and surviving against the hordes of rotting undead. But what about those who just want to dive off of a building and plunge their blades into the noggin of an unsuspecting orc? Well, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions have you covered. Yesterday at the San Diego Comic-Con they unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor revealing many new story details about the game, including the identity of the mysterious spectral Wraith bound to the game’s protagonist Talion, along with his connection to the Rings of Power and the nefarious Dark Lord, Sauron.
The Shadow of Mordor- The Bright Lord story trailer shows Talion and the Wraith as they trek down a trail littered with ancient artifacts that trigger painful memories of the Wraith’s history, filled with images of the Middle-earth’s iconic Rings of power along with the two heroes’ common foe, the Dark Lord himself.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is set to plunge its bloodthirsty blades into retail locations on October 3rd, 2014 on the XBox one, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and XBox 360. Stay tuned for more info on Shadow of Mordor as it becomes available.
