NES Remix 1 & 2 Retail Release Confirmed

NES Remix 1 & 2 to get physical release this holiday season

Nintendo announced during their San Diego Comic Con livestream that NES Remix titles will be bundled together this holiday season in a single retail package.

Originally released  digitally last December on the Wii U eShop, NES Remix 1 features 204 challenges lifted from 16 classic 1980s NES titles. NES Remix 2, released just this past April, features an additional 12 classic games and 169 challenges to test your retro gaming mettle.

Nintendo has yet to confirm a concrete price or release date for NES Remix 1 & 2’s retail package, but I think it’s safe to say this 8-bit bundle won’t be breaking the bank.

So, do you plan on picking up NES Remix 1 & 2 when it hits retail later this year? Additionally, if Nintendo decides to crank out a third NES Remix collection, what games would you like to see featured in the next retro-centric collection? As always, be sure to let us know what you’d like to see featured in the comments below.
