Nintendo to beam Super Smash Brothers to fans at Comic Con
Nintendo recently revealed its intent to hit the San Diego Comic Con with its newest installment of Super Smash Brothers with full force. While Nintendo had already confirmed both a live tournament and a show, a new feature has been brought to the table; “Bring Me Smash”.
Using social media site Twitter, Comic-Con attendees will have the chance for official Nintendo representatives to bring Super Smash Brothers for the 3DS straight to their location for an exclusive hands-on demonstration. To enter for a chance to win, all fans will need to do is tweet to the Nintendo Twitter account their exact location. If an individual is chosen, they are then sent a direct message telling them that Smash is on their way.
Personally, I feel as though this is a great move on Nintendo’s part. By interacting directly with its fanbase, Nintendo seems to be conveying the message that it really cares about what gamers have to say. Also, the fact that Nintendo representatives will come directly to you is also nice; so many companies these days want to be seen in as grand of a light as possible. Having a company cater towards what is convenient for the individual seems quite humbling and for that I am very impressed.
