It’s almost hard to believe Watch Dogs‘ release is less than a week away. Six months after Ubisoft’s tech-savvy open-world epic was supposed to arrive alongside Microsoft and Sony’s shiny new boxes, players are finally poised to venture into the studio’s vision of a completely networked Chicago and turn it into their vigilante playground.
For those who want an even closer look at Ubisoft’s journey of creating this tremendously ambitious sandbox game, publisher Titan Books and Ubisoft have partnered to create a book centered around the game’s vigilante hacker Aiden Pearce, the process of crafting the game’s version of a ctOS-controlled Chicago, and designing the colorful cast of rogues that bring Watch Dogs to life.
Now available for pre-order through Titan Books and Amazon, the 144 page, hardback The Art of Watch Dogs is is written by industry veteran Andy Mcvittie, who previously handled writing and editing for PlayStation Plus and Nintendo Offcial Magazine and previously authored art books for Titanfall and Assassin’s Creed III.
The Art of Watch Dogs will be available alongside the game’s release on May 27th.
