Transistor Launch Trailer Straight from Cloudbank

Transistor, the new title by SuperGiant Games, has a lot to live up to. Its predecessor, Bastion, was praised as one of 2011’s best games, and not without good reason. From everything we see here, Transistor promises to reach new levels of gorgeous presentation and music, and hopefully the gameplay will be just as fine-tuned as everything else. In this trailer we get a first look at the story of Transistor, although if it’s anything like Bastion, there will be much more to it than first meets the eye.

Someone in the great city of Cloudbank wants you dead, but they didn’t try hard enough. There are four people to be hunted down, but who are they? What are their secrets? We’ll all find out on May 20th, when Transistor broadcasts to PS4 and PC. Check back here for a full review, and get hyped for some spectacular storytelling and fighting in the city of Cloudbank.

Jay Petrequin started writing at HeyPoorPlayer in the summer of 2012, but first got his start writing for It's Super Effective, a Pokemon podcast that happened to be a reflection of two of his biggest interests: pocket monsters, and making people listen to him say things.
