Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare‘s first free piece of DLC will be sprouting up tomorrow across the fertile soil of Xbox 360 and Xbox One, offering a slew of new content in the way of a new game mode, map, and abilities to wage war with.
The Garden Variety DLC for EA and Popcap’s comical, over-the-top shooter features an all-new eight-on-eight gameplay mode dubbed “Gnome Bomb”, which tasks plants and zombies to work together to make a push for the opposing team’s garden or graveyard. Additionally, the Garden Variety DLC pack also introduces a new map, rife with undead pirates looking to eat their fill of botanical brains. Lastly, players can look forward to rounding out their arsenals with 24 new ability upgrades, three for each class including Sunflower’s Solar Flare Beam, Chomper’s Super Goop which cements zombies in place and the All-Star Zombie’s Ultra Tackle.
