Infinite Crisis Open Beta Date, Trio of Trailers

MOBA gamers rejoice, for the time to don your capes is nearly upon thee. Infinite Crisis has been highly anticipated throughout the online gaming community for some time, and this superpowered Multiplayer Online Battle Arena will begin open beta on March 14th. To celebrate the dawn of a new age of superheroes and villains, we’ve received reveal trailers for three never-before-seen characters from the game; Green Arrow, Aquaman, and Mecha Superman.

Mecha Superman
Universe of Origin: Mecha
Alignment: Hero

When this universes purely human Clark Kent found a Kryptonian space probe, he wasn’t sure what he was dealing with. After connecting the machine to his family’s agrobot, a large mech designed for farmwork, he created a robot he named KAL. He tried to teach KAL what it was like to be human, attempting to show him human morals and values through a game he called “Superman”. KAL didn’t understand the purpose of the game, and Clark made little progress with the machine. Then, one fateful day, Clark was hit and killed by a drunk driver, leaving KAL without his creator. From this, KAL gained understanding of the human need to seek out heroes, took on the Superman title, and sought to become everything Clark had imagined in his games.

Aquaman
Universe of Origin: Prime
Alignment: Hero

Arthur Curry’s life was changed forever when he discovered his true origin; his mother was the queen of Atlantis, a kingdom thriving beneath the sea. The discovery was made public, piquing the interest of Black Manta, a hunter whose obsession with Atlantean artifacts led to the death of Arthur’s father. Arthur embraced his Atlantean heritage, becoming the rightful king of Atlantis for many years before returning to the surface and the woman he loves, eventually becoming a guardian of both worlds, but feeling at home in neither.

Green Arrow
Universe of Origin: Prime
Alignment: Hero

Oliver Queen was  a rich, self-destructive socialite. But his spoiled life was changed forever when a party at sea was attacked by pirates. He eluded capture, and armed with a bow and arrow, attempted to lead an assault on the pirates. He failed, causing a massive explosion on the boat that killed dozens and flung him into the ocean. Washing up on a remote island with his bow, he had only that to use in order to survive. When he finally found rescue and returned home, he took up the mantle of Green Arrow in order to atone for his crimes.
