The latest behind the scenes look at Namco Bandai and From Software’s upcoming death-a-thon, Dark Souls II is here. Featuring the game’s director Yui Tanamura, actor Peter Serafinowicz (who voices the treasure-seeking Mild-Mannered Pate), and other key members of the development team, this footage offers a look behind the studio’s black veil into the team’s dark intentions as we peer into the makings of the chaotic kingdom of Drangleic.

Check out the footage below for a glimpse into the inner-workings of Dark Souls II showcasing the game’s development process. From the way character design is used to tell the story to the feeling of accomplishment from overcoming the game’s more perilous encounters, this developer diary offers a final glimpse into the world of Dark Souls II before the game’s March release.

Dark Souls II will be available for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 11th in North America, with a PAL release to follow on the 14th.
