Bravely Default, the upcoming Square Enix RPG being hailed as the return of the spirit of Final Fantasy, is finally making its way to the US in early 2014. At this morning’s Nintendo Direct, our good friend Reggie came out to give us a trailer for the game’s upcoming demo. This trailer features some focus on the game’s surprising and cool streetpass functionality, allowing you to use passersby as characters in your game ala Fire Emblem. The demo will be released on the 3DS eshop on January 2nd, 2014. In addition, the game was given an official North American release date of February 7th, 2014. Bravely Default looks as brave as they come, and far from default or generic at all. Stay tuned for more bravery soon!
