Last week we announced the launch of developer The Brotherhood’s Kickstarter campaign to fund STASIS, a creepy isometric 3D adventure that takes place on the eerie and abandoned spacecraft, Groomlake, where players take control of the game’s protagonist, John Maracheck, to explore the haunting vessel and solve its puzzles. Today we get to confirm that The Brotherhood has announced that film, TV and
video game composer, Mark Morgan would be composing the score for the game.
Mark Morgan is best known in the video game world for his work on the scores to Fallout 1-3 and Planescape Tormet. The addition of Mr. Morgan on the team is sure to ensure STASIS will feature a suitably atmospheric soundtrack to go along with the gameplay, which has a strong focus on darkness and isolation.
In other STASIS news, the team has just released a Mac OS X build of the demo to go along with the currently available PC build.
If you’re interested in stepping aboard Groomlake for yourself you can check out the demo here.
There’s no question that Mark Morgan joining the ranks of developer Christopher Bischoff’s team at The Brotherhood is going to be a positive step in immersing players in the suffocating atmosphere of STASIS.
