Reacting to the demands of members of the Capcom Community, Capcom and Nintendo have announced that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be receiving a serious update following the game’s March release.
This update, slated to go live in April, will enable cross-region functionality, allowing North American and European hunters to join forces in the game’s epic 4-player hunts. In addition to cross-platform support, the upcoming update is also implementing Off-TV play, allowing the entire game to be played exclusively on the Wii U GamePad’s screen.
Capcom also plans to be releasing free, downloadable quests for several months following the game’s release, with the first of these bonus hunts slated to be available on launch day.
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate will be available for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on March 22nd.
