Developer Omega Force is bringing back the wholesale slaughter the Dynasty Warriors is known for, making you feel like a feudal-era Rambo while taking on entire armies with devastating Musou abilities, however, they’ve also added a few new features to help give this long-running beat ’em up franchise some renewed luster such as special abilities that require commander affinity and a counterblow ability which forfeits a character’s weapon in exchange for a new implement of destruction. The game also features an all-new cooperative campaign so you and a friend can experience the carnage together.
Dynasty Warriors 8 will be available in Japan on February 28th. The North American release has not yet been announced.
