Nobody is disputing the fact that Sonic is one fast dude, but there’s no way he’s clearing zones in less than a second, which is exactly what has been reflected on the game’s leaderboards. Hackers have found a way to clear levels in ridiculous times, forcing Sega to reset the leaderboards entirely.

Before you go spin-dashing to your couch to reclaim your old records you might want to know that Sega has not actually fixed the issue that hackers are exploiting.  This means another leaderboard reset is very likely in the future.
